The Wounded Warrior Project
The Wounded Warrior Project is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “honor and empower wounded warriors” of the United States Armed Forces. The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) works to raise awareness and enlist the public’s aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other, and to provide unique, direct programs and services to meet their needs.

Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is the lead Defense Department agency promoting cooperation and understanding between civilian employers and their National Guard and Reserve employees.
Established in 1972, ESGR operates within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Reserve Affairs. The agency’s responsibilities fall into three categories: Increasing awareness of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Right Act, recognizing outstanding support of employers for their Guard and Reserve employees, and resolving workplace conflict through mediation.

Association of the United States Army
The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a private, non-profit organization which primarily acts as an advocacy group for the United States Army. Founded in 1950, it has 125 chapters worldwide. Membership is open to everyone, not just Army personnel are highly encouraged to join by their chain of command. The organization publishes the magazine Army, and runs the Institute of Land Warfare. The current president is General Gordon R. Sullivan, retired.
